महाशया दी हट्टी - आज की कहानी का शीर्षक देखकर तो कई लोग चौंक गए होंगे की यह क्या है? पर आज के समय में ऐसा संभव ही नहीं कोई व्यक्ति महाशया दी हट्टी को ना जानता हो। महाशया दी हट्टी एक ऐसी हस्ती हैं जो परिचय की मोहताज नहीं हैं पर जैसा की आप सब जानते हैं कि इस मुकाम तक कोई यूं ही नहीं पहुँच जाता है हर एक कामयाब व्यक्ति के पीछे छुपी होती है उसकी एक संघर्ष भर जिंदगी जिससे निरंतर लड़ते लड़ते ही वह एक कामयाब व्यत्कि बनता है। तो आज हम आपको ऐसे ही एक व्यक्ति की कामयाबी के पीछे छुपे उसके संघर्ष भरे जीवन से रूबरू कराएंगे जिससे आपको भी अपने जीवन में लक्ष्य प्राप्त करने में मदद मिलेगी। 

महाशया दी हट्टी यानी एम.डी.एच. जी हाँ आपने बिलकुल सही पहचाना एम.डी.एच. मसाले। तो क्या है यह एम.डी.एच., इसका मतलब क्या है, और कहाँ से आया ये एम.डी.एच., कैसे बना एम.डी.एच.एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ब्रांड इन्ही सबके बारे में आपको बताऊंगा एम.डी.एच.की सक्सेस स्टोरी में जो कि बहुत ही रोचक है। 

मसाले

एक बात तो आप सभी मानते हैं कि समय बहुत बलवान होता है, यह राजा को रंक और रंक को राजा बना देता है। तो आज मैं आपको ऐसी ही एक कहानी सुनाता हूँ एम.डी.एच. के मालिक महाशय धर्मपाल जी की जो कि कई साल पहले दिल्ली में तांगा चलाकर अपने परिवार का भरण पोषण किया करते थे। उस समय उन्हें एक सवारी का लगभग २ आना मिलता था जो कि आज के समय में कितने लोगों ने देखा ही नहीं होग कि आना किसे कहते हैं। धर्मपाल जी अपने परिवार के लिए कड़ी मेहनत करते थे। 

पाकिस्तान के सियालकोट में धर्मपाल जी के पिता चुन्नीलाल जी एक मसाले की दुकान चलाते थे जिसका नाम महाशया दी हट्टी(दुकान) था। यह उस समय की बात है जब धर्मपाल जी कक्षा 5 में पढ़ते थे, उनका मन पढ़ाई में बिलकुल नहीं लगता था। वह हर रोज कोई न कोई बहाना बनाकर स्कूल मिस कर दिया करते थे। किसी तरह उन्होंने कक्षा-5 तक की पढ़ाई के बाद स्कूल हमेशा के लिये छोड़ दिया। वह हमेशा घर में रहते थे या दोस्तों के साथ खेलने निकल जाते थे। 

एक दिन चुन्नीलाल जी ने अपने बेटे धर्मपाल से कहा कि बेटा तूने पढ़ाई छोड़ दी अब आगे क्या करना है कुछ सोंचा है ? कुछ देर सोंच कर चुन्नीलाल जी ने कहा कि तू कोई लकड़ी का काम सीख ले, हो सकता है तू आगे चलकर कुशल ठेकेदार बन जाए। धर्मपाल जी ने अपने पिता के कहने पर लकड़ी का काम पूरे 8 महीने तक किया पर वहां भी न तो उनका मन लगा और न ही सफलता हाथ लगी। उन्होंने लकड़ी का काम भी छोड़ दिया फिर उनके पिता जी ने उन्हें कई जगह काम पे लगाया। धर्मपाल जी ने 15 साल तक कई जगह काम किये जैसे साबुन की फैक्ट्री में, कपडे की दुकान में, राशन की दुकान में इत्यादि पर उनका कहीं भी मन नहीं न लगा। उन्होंने सारे ही काम छोड़ दिए। 

धर्मपाल जी की इन हरकतों की वजह से चुन्नीलाल जी काफी चिंतित थे फिर एक दिन उन्होंने धर्मपाल को अपनी ही दुकान पर रख लिया कि अबसे यहाँ यही काम सीख। धर्मपाल जी को इस काम में मजा आने लगा था वह अपने हाथों से मसालों को कूटते थे। फिर कुछ सालों बाद धर्मपाल जी की शादी कर दी गयी। चुन्नीलाल जी ने अपने बेटे की जिंदगी को सही दिशा देने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी थी। चुन्नीलाल जी अपने कारोबार को आगे बढ़ा रहे थे, उनका मानना था कि जिसका माल अच्छा होता है ग्राहक खुद ब खुद उसके पास आ जाता है इसीलिए वह हमेशा अपनी क्वालिटी पे काम करते थे। उस समय लोग उन्हें देगी मिर्च वाले के नाम से जानते थे। 

यह आप सभी जानते हैं कि पहले तो हिन्दू-मुस्लिम सभी एक साथ रहते थे पर जब 15 अगस्त 1947 में भारत आज़ाद हुआ तो पाकिस्तान और भारत का भी बंटवारा हो गया। उस समय पाकिस्तान में हिन्दुओं को लेकर काफी खलबली मची थी, और हिन्दुओं की बहुत दुर्दशा हो रही थी यह देख कई हिन्दुओं को रातों रात वहां से भागना पड़ा। धर्मपाल जी भी अपने परिवार के साथ अमृतसर चले आये और फिर अगले ही दिन वे दिल्ली के करोल बाग़ में अपनी बहन के यहाँ आ गए। धर्मपाल जी का सारा कारोबार और दुकान तो सियालकोट में ही भारत पाकिस्तान बंटवारे में ख़तम हो गया था।

कहा जाता है कि उस समय धर्मपाल जी के पास 1500 रूपये थे जो उनके पिता जी ने उन्हें दिए थ, जिससे धर्मपाल जी ने चांदनी चौक से 650 रूपये में एक घोडा और तांगा खरीद लिया। 

काल्पनिक तांगा 

आप सोंच रहे होंगे कि 650 रूपये में तो आज ढंग की एक शर्ट नहीं मिलती, हाँ तो आप बिलकुल सही सोंच रहे हैं उस समय की और आज की महंगाई में बड़ा अंतर है। खैर, हुआ यूं कि, तांगा चलाने में भी उनका मन नहीं लगा क्योंकि लोग उन्हें काफी बेइज्जत करते थे और कभी कभी गालियां भी दे देते थे और एक कुशल व्यापारी होने की वजह से उन्हें ये सब बर्दास्त नहीं हुआ। तो उन्होंने इस बार अंतिम निर्णय लिया कि मुझे जो आता है मैं वो करूँगा मैं अपने हाथ से मसाला बनाऊंगा और बेचूंगा। 

उसके बाद उन्होंने दिल्ली के अजमल रोड पर एक बहुत छोटी सी दुकान ली और उसका नाम रख दिया "महाशया दी हट्टी सियालकोट वाले" और वहीँ उन्होंने हल्दी, मिर्च, मसाला बनाना शुरू कर दिया। धीरे धीरे लोगों को पता चल गया कि सियालकोट में जो देगी मिर्च वाले थे वो अब यहाँ आ गए हैं। अपने मसालों की शुद्धता और अपनी ईमानदारी की वजह से ही उन्होंने सबका दिल जीत लिया, उनकी दुकान पर लोगों की भीड़ लगने लगी। अपनी इसी लगन के कारण उन्होंने धीरे धीरे एक दुकान से दूसरी और दूसरी से तीसरी दुकान बना ली। ऐसा नहीं है कि इस व्यापार में उन्हें परेशानियों का सामना नहीं करना पड़ा, कई परेशानियां आयी पर धर्मपाल जी पीछे नहीं हटे बल्कि डटे रहे। 

वर्ष 1968 में उन्होंने अपनी मेहनत और लगन के दम पर दिल्ली में ही एक मसाले की बड़ी सी फैक्ट्री लगा दी। फिर क्या था अब तो उनके मसाले पूरे भारत के साथ साथ बाहर के भी कई देशों में निर्यात होने लगे और आज उनका एम.डी.एच. यानि महाशया दी हट्टी एक बहुत ही बड़ा ब्रांड बन चुका जिसे आज की तारीख में बच्चा बच्चा जनता है। अपने माता पिता की याद में उन्होंने कई स्कूल, हॉस्पिटल, ट्रस्ट इत्यादि बनवा रखे हैं। 

धर्मपाल जी आज भी कुछ बातें सिखाते हैं जिनकी वजह से वो कामयाब हुए :

1. जीवन में सदा ही हर परिस्थति में ईमानदार रहो। 
2. हमेशा दूसरों से मीठा बोलो। 
3. इतनी मेहनत करो कि सफलता तुम्हारे कदम चूमे। 
4. अपने माता पिता का आशीर्वाद सदा अपने साथ रखो।

Mahashaya Di Hatti - Many of you must be shocked seeing the title of today's story that what is this? But today it is not possible that no one knows Mahashaya Di Hatti . Mahashaya Di Hatti is the person who doesn't need any introduction. As you all know that no one can reach on pinnacle of success easily, there is always a struggling & difficult life behind a person which makes him successful after facing all the problems. So, today we will introduce you to the struggling life of such a person who fought with his problems & now became an international brand. This story will also help you to achieve your goal in life.

Mahashaya Di Hatti i.e. M.D.H. yeah you correctly recognized it M.D.H. spices. But do you know, What is M.D.H.?, From where this M.D.H. came?, How this M.D.H. became such a big & international brand? What is the story behind M.D.H.? So, today I'll answer all these questions & will tell you the Success Story of M.D.H. too which is very interesting.

Spices

This you all know that Time is very strong it can convert a beggar into a king & a king into a beggar when it turns. So, today I'll tell you such a story of Mr. Dharampal the owner of M.D.H. spices, who used to feed his family by running a horse cart in Delhi many years ago. In those days he used to get 2 aanas(very smaller than 1 Rupee) per ride, at present many of you wouldn't have seen the aana. Mr. Dharampal used to work very hard for his family.

In Sialkot, Pakistan Mr. Chunnilal the father of Mr. Dharmpal used to run a spice shop named as Mahashaya Di Hatti(Shop). Mahashaya is also meant as "Sir" & "Di" means "Of". So, Mahashaya Di Hatti means "Shop of the Sir." Anyways, Mr. dharampal was studying in class 5th and he never liked the school at all, he used to absent the school always by various types of pretends. Somehow he left the school forever after studying till class 5. He always  loved to stay at home or to play out with his friends.

Once Mr. Chunnilal asked hi son, Oh! Dharampal you droppped your studies too early. now what is the next to do? After thinking for sometime for his son he said, you should learn some wood work; may be you can become a skilled contractor in future. Dharampal ji did the wood work for 8 months at the behest of his father but there was neither his mind nor success. After few days he left this work too then his father adjusted him in many works as garment shop, grocery shop, soap factory etc. He left many jobs & works up to 15 years.

Due to all these deeds of dharampal, mr. chunnilal was very worried about him, one day he kept his son at his own shop of spices and asked to learn the work there; from now. Dharampal ji started enjoying the work he started grinding & crushing of the spices by his own hands. And after few years dharampal ji got married. Mr. Chunnilal used every tactics to show the right direction to his son's life. Mr. Dharampal was escalating his business, his thinking was that the customer always loves to go to the manufacturer who is having the best quality goods, So he always used to work on his quality. At that time people has named them as "Deggi Mirch Wale".

As you all know that all the Hindu - Muslims were used to live together in India, but after the independence of India from Britishers, India - Pakistan also got divided. That time there was a lot of uproar over the Hindus in Pakistan and many Hindus had to flee overnight after seeing the worst situation of Hindus in Pakistan. Dharampal ji too came to Amritsar with his family and in next day he was at his sister's home in Carol Bagh, Delhi. His entire business & shop were destroyed in the partition of India - Pakistan in Sialkot.

It is said that Dharampal ji had only Rs.1500 with him given by his father in Sialkot. So, he bought a horse - cart from Chandani Chowk, Delhi for Rs.650.

You all must be thinking that today in Rs.650 we can't buy a good shirt even, yeah you all are right there is seriously a very huge difference in today's inflation from those days. Well, it happened that he did not love running the cart because people used to insult him always and sometimes they abused him. Because of being a skilled businessman he didn't suffer all these too long so he dropped this cart driving too. This time he took his final decision that I'll do what I know, I'll make & sell the spices with my hand itself.

He took a very small shop in Ajmal Road, Delhi and named it Mahashaya Di Hatti of Sialkot, and there he started making turmeric, red chili, spices and all. People came to know gradually that those who used to give Deggi Chili in Sialkot, Pakistan have come here now. He became famous gradually from his quality products & honesty. The people were getting gathered in his shop for the quality spices. Due to his passion & honesty he gradually made many shops one by one. It is not that he did not face troubles in his business but he never back down from his decision, he remained strong always.

In 1968, he set up a big factory of spices in Delhi. Now his spices started being exported to many other countries. And now, his Mahashaya Di Hatti i.e. M.D.H. has become a very big international brand, today there is no one who don't know about M.D.H. In the memory of his loving parents he built many of the schools, trusts, hospitals etc..

Mr. Dharampal teaches the following tips of success to all of us :

1. Always be honest in your life in every worst situation.
2. Always be sweet to others.
3. Always work hard for the success.
4. Always keep the blessings of your parents with you.
